What a fun shoot…we visited a private ranch which had some really beautiful property…lots of green and lots of wheat-y looking grass! Mmmmm…favorites to shoot in. Loved her flower belt and those too cute little cowboy boots!

The last of the Shannon Belly Series! This mama is due next week and I know she is itching to get baby boy here. And I think Sarah is going to be a FABULOUS big sister. She is so funny. I loved watching her show me her beautiful pearls, and her sparkly sandals, and when I went to their house for a wardrobe check she ran out nakey pants…love a girl with confidence! She is all sass and spunk and its always a joy for me to take her pictures. As much as I LOVE the ones on the blue wall…I ADORE the black and whites in the studio! The expressions below are too cute…love them!
I can’t wait for baby boy to make his debut and take his newborn pictures…one more week!!!
Totally LOVED this couple! I have so many rad clients coming through right now and these two were no exception. I am so excited because I get to photograph her upcoming birth as well as the newborn session. Yay, Yay, Yay!!!
I just love Debralee. We met years ago at a wedding she was coordinating and we were photographing. She is always fun to hang out with…she has a very similar style to my own and one of the best things about photographing her is that she has totally realistic expectations when it comes to her sessions. She researches, looks for locations, checks wardrobes and prepares as much as she can, but then puts it all in the hands of the weather, the wind, the clouds and just accepts what comes her way on session day. Love that! Totally gives me the freedom to shoot and be creative without the pressure of getting the ‘perfect’ shot.
Good thing too because Aden is a typical three year old who has his own ideas about what he wants to do for the photo shoot. One of my favorites images is the one below of Debralee and Omar with Aden siting off to the side. He was not going to budge for anything. We all just laughed and Debralee was like ‘Just leave him there…that’s him!’ And I also LOVE that Debralee embraces her curves and is confident while I am photographing her. She exudes self confidence which shines through in her images…there are some FABULOUS images I took that REALLY show off her curves, but those ones are just for Omar 🙂 Baby Caleb made his debut this last week and I am excited to show off his birth story from the hospital, but for now enjoy Debralee’s glow during the last couple of weeks of Caleb inside her…
Hopefully I got that right…Laju? Sundar is what Google translate gave me when I asked for the translation of beautiful into Hindi. Because this mama is freaking gorgeous!!! And let me just say that I am loving me this window light that I got to use for her session. We had to keep it short and sweet, but had some fun with mixing up the outfits. And Adele made her own head piece out of a necklace and earring which I have to say was ingenious. I LOVE the henna all over her belly…because who gets henna on their belly? And if you look closely you can see three hands in the design…one for her, one for Brandon and the little one for Colt. So sweet! Photographing Adele is always so easy since she knows how to move and pose like a pro. She never stands still, just keeps moving those shoulders and eyes around giving me all kinds of goodness to photograph. She comes from a family of gorgeous women…I photographed her sister Catherine’s wedding a couple weeks ago, and you can see Catherine’s bridal session HERE. Anyway…baby Adele Marie made her debut yesterday and I got to spend the day at the hospital taking her first pictures…can’t wait to post those!!!
