Ahhhhh, little Ariana! This sweet diva LOVES arms!!! She was PERFECT when we were holding her…sleepy and quiet and calm. The second we would lay her down to pose she knew she was not being held and let us know asap. Kimberly and I pulled out every trick we knew…bouncy swaying, nice warm room, full tummy, lights out, singing…nope. Only wanted arms. In fact, this was the first newborn shoot on record that I had to shoot in two separate sessions because after 3 hours and only 10 shots we weren’t getting very far. Poor Denise and Aaron! I know how exhausted it is to be a new mommy and felt so bad for asking them to come back. But in the end we got some beautiful shots…lots of pink lately! All these newborn girls, I’m telling you…something is in the water. One of my favorites is the one below with the lasso from Aaron and Denise’s wedding…the lasso is one of my favorites parts of the wedding ceremony so I thought it was sweet to see a representation of what the symbolism of the lasso means. Just beautiful.
