Ahhhhh! I can’t even say how much I loved this shoot. Took all of 20 minutes (yes, seriously 20 min) and the sweet thing was just a dream to shoot. Smiles and ooooo’s and ahhhh’s. Just delicious…
Oh My Goodness…this was the funniest, craziest, silliest shoot! It was scheduled for a Saturday evening, but the parents got a flat tire on the way down from Houston so we moved the shoot to sunrise Sunday morning. Aye Carumba…mornings and I are not the best of friends. And then we had all these adorable kids who we all made fools of ourselves for in order to get smiles out of them. We were working and shooting like nuts to try and beat the sun. Snap, snap, snap…we also had to get the kids while they were fresh and still a bit happy…whew! I think all of the adults were amazed we pulled it off by the time we were done. And I love the pictures…they are too cute! My favorites are the parents laughing and the one with all the grandkids…I laugh every time I look at it!
Let me tell ya’ll this has been one crazy summer. A big thank you to everyone for hanging in there while I work on getting all the sessions up and out. The big plus side of that is how many newborns and births have been coming my way. So much fun stuff to post…
Yay! Adele Marie’s newborn session is finally up. My favorite part was Colt’s reaction to his sister. He is just the sweetest big brother…he’s totally full of energy and bounces off the walls, but you can’t help but love his adorable smile and the way he is such a protective big brother…just melts my heart!
And Adele Marie was such the cutest little thing ever…have you ever seen a baby suck their own thumb that young? I mean, she actually kept in in her mouth herself…for like, minutes…my kids didn’t do that until 4 months old!
One last note…if you like the antique crib that Adele is sleeping in, its available at the Feathered Nest located in Vintage on Main at 1409 N. Main street in McAllen.
Yay! Tegan and Corey’s wedding is finally up! It was so wonderful to go to Oregon and see the FamBam…Tegan is so grown up and it made me feel old to see her get married, but I loved seeing her so happy and in love. We had a great time hanging out with Tegan and Corey during the day…Oregon is so beautiful. Completely different from the Valley…so lush and green and colorful. We spent some time at the LDS Oregon Temple…the one people think is a castle. The we moved onto the the rhododendron gardens…OMG…so beautiful!!! I so wish we could grow pretty flowers here! Just loved it. Loved being around family and friends and beauty and it was such a great day…enjoy some of the images from their beautiful wedding day!
The last of the Shannon Belly Series! This mama is due next week and I know she is itching to get baby boy here. And I think Sarah is going to be a FABULOUS big sister. She is so funny. I loved watching her show me her beautiful pearls, and her sparkly sandals, and when I went to their house for a wardrobe check she ran out nakey pants…love a girl with confidence! She is all sass and spunk and its always a joy for me to take her pictures. As much as I LOVE the ones on the blue wall…I ADORE the black and whites in the studio! The expressions below are too cute…love them!
I can’t wait for baby boy to make his debut and take his newborn pictures…one more week!!!
