Always so much fun to hang out with Debralee and Omar. It’s always a pleasure to come into people’s homes and capture the love that surrounds a new baby that has just arrived. Watching Aden with baby Caleb…laughing looking and kissing…mmmmmm, just melts my heart. And I love watching Mommy and Daddy love on their newborn son.
When I was editing sweet Emma’s session the colors reminded me of a beautiful sunrise or sunset…peachy pink and oranges and yellows. So beautiful. I love the colorful newborn shoots!
Big brother Jake was so gentle and loving with his new baby sister. I am always curious to see how siblings will react and Jake was just the best. And Emma was so sleepy and dreamy that it was so easy to get great pictures of her. I am loving all of the newborns that are coming through the studio…and I have so many more lined up it is totally crazy. Babies are popping up all over the place…stay tuned for more!
I just love Kinsey and Jose. I was privileged to cover Kinsey’s belly and newborn shoot again just like I did for Kase a few years back which you can see here: http://gerardogarmendia.com/blog/2012/02/kase-newborn-mcallen-texas-photographer/. In fact, when I told Kimberly that we were going to cover their newborn shoot at their house again, her first comment was that she couldn’t wait to see the nursery! I have to say that we weren’t disappointed!!! Kannon’s nursery was adorable and since Kimberly and I both have four daughters we went gaga over the table and chairs with the beautiful canopy over it…LOVE! How adorable, right? It was totally wonderful to see them all love on each other and it was hilarious to see Kase try and give Kannon a hug by head butting her…so sweet. Loved everything about this shoot…especially that wonderful image below with the flowers. Kinsey had the idea which she found on Pinterest (of course!) and I had so much fun shopping and laying everything out…I have another wonderful home newborn shoot to post soon so stay tuned!!!
OMG these two were too adorable. Alyssa came prepared with TONS of different ideas…half of them I didn’t even get to post. Flowers, hats, signs, bubbles, glitter, glasses, dresses…so much stuff!!! I loved it! Alyssa’s dad owns a tire shop and so naturally we had to take some pictures there…those tires are freaking HUGE! And then I loved the hat and shawl and dress she wore in the field next to the shop. So beautiful.
How do I describe these girls? Of course I love my daughter Abby…she’s almost 16 and is someone I can always count on, is so helpful around the house, is kind and thoughtful and I cherish her more than she probably knows. And I couldn’t have asked for better friends for my kids than Lexi and Tessa. They are smart, sassy, loving, fun and I love them with my whole heart like my own. For Lexi’s 15th birthday, she wanted a photoshoot with her two closest friends so Kimberly and Tessa hit the mall scouting out wardrobe. We then met up at my house and let me tell you that there were so many clothes and accessories everywhere. Once we got everything situated we hit the road and found such a cute field with all those cottony flowers that I love. Ugh, it was so freaking hot though!!! We were all dripping with sweat…so gross. And I was stressed because even though what Lexi wanted was a photoshoot, it was actually a cover for her surprise party! So as soon as we were done we headed on over to Pam’s and when Lexi walked in all of her closest friends were there to celebrate with her…so fun. I just LOVE these girls…
